US FDA and NH DHHS warn of dangerous levels of lead found in fruit pouches

NH Department of Health and Human Services along with the US Food and Drug Administration have issued warnings on dangerous levels of lead found in fruit pouches, specifically three different varieties of cinnamon applesauce made by the following brands; WanaBana, Schnucks, and Weis.

Consumers should not eat, sell, or serve recalled WanaBana, Schnucks, and Weis brand apple cinnamon pouches and should discard them. These products have a long shelf life. Consumers should check their homes and discard these products.
