Bring your kids with you when you vote on Town Election/Voting Day, Tuesday, March 12!
Young people’s ability and desire to participate in civic life is shaped throughout their childhood and adolescence. Learning early in life how to participate in our democracy is an important part of civic education!
Students from the Jacques School and Heron Pond School will be able to participate in the voting process and learn more about how to use their voice by voting on some ‘kid-friendly’ topics created by the schools.
❤️ Jacques school students will be voting for what new equipment/toys they’d like to have available at recess.
💙 Heron Pond students will be voting for the name of their new mascot.
