Participants will learn about all the fun and amazing things that can be found in the woods around us and explore different habitats. Each session includes a story and discussion time, then an activity related to the monthly topic.

Each session runs the first three Thursdays of the month from 10:00-10:45. Cost is $24/session for Amherst residents and $29/session for non-residents. Be sure to register early to reserve your spot!

Monthly topic schedule is as follows:

February: Things With Wings – Insects, birds and bats. We will focus on a variety of creatures with wings and visit their different shelters here at PMEC.

March: Hibernation – Let us explore animal hibernation and who is asleep in the woods and beginning to wake up. We will focus on a variety of animals and how they survive through the winter at PMEC.
