Scouting for Food Annual Food Drive
The Boy Scouts of America, Daniel Webster Council is running their annual ‘Scouting For Food’ food drive Saturday, November 9th
Leave nonperishable food and pantry items in a TIED PLASTIC BAG near your front door or on a step before 8:30 on Saturday and the scouts will handle the rest!
All donated food stays within our local community.
Area food pantries list the following items as their most needed:
- cereal, hot cereal
- canned fruits, vegetables and beans
- soup
- peanut butter and jelly
- pasta, gluten free pasta
- cooking oil, olive oil
- crackers, gluten free crackers
- flour and sugar
- muffin, cake and brownie mix
- Snacks, including granola bars, mixed fruit cups, cheese crackers, peanut butter crackers
- salad dressings and condiments
- feminine hygiene products
- paper goods (napkins, toilet paper, paper towels)
