Motherhood and Mindfulness FREE event
Self care while mothering can be challenging. Whether you’re a new mom or a mom of grown children, motherhood can zap energy, mood, and health just as it adds joy, love, and memories. Balancing these two sides of motherhood is a full life’s work.
Join Brenda Jones (M.Ed. CYI, CRQTC) and fellow mothers Thursday, January 25 5:30-7:30 at the Wadleigh Library for a FREE Motherhood and Mindfulness event. Moms of all ages welcome!
Explore simple self care practices you can incorporate into your day and share with your family. Brenda comes to us from Balanced Living Arts, a group dedicated to blending practices from yoga, qigong and mindfulness to assist in optimizing overall health and resiliency. This session will include elements of all these traditions and will end with a deep guided relaxation.
💜 For those moms with young children, a dedicated library staff member will provide free child care in the room adjoining the meeting space. Books, activities, and quiet toys wil be provided.
💜 Bring a yoga mat, pillow and blanket if you can.
