Each Multicultural Drum Circle features an educational drum circle that introduces the fundamental rhythms, sounds, and drumming techniques found across the globe with authentic world instruments. Every person in the circle will get their hands on a drum or an authentic hand percussion instrument and be part of building the rhythm. Marie Mendelow, a South African native, and her assistant Vida will teach the group about the instruments they’re playing and all of the ways they can be used to join in on the music. No music experience necessary!
