For your young children remember that the magic of the season and the connections with family and friends are what they’ll remember most. It could be the memories of their first snow, the lights on the Christmas tree, carolling with neighbors, nibbling candy canes, or my daughter still talks about the snow fort she built with Auntie Annie when she was four.
It’s difficult as parents juggling the busyness of the season. This is a gentle reminder that you do not have to do it all.
Here’s a good article from PBS, too, about “keeping learning and quality time with family at the top of the list” during the holiday season and winter break.
And don’t forget to visit the Milford Kids Thrive calendar for updates on local happenings and family fun activities.
