Spring is here!! The first day of spring is also known as the Vernal Equinox. Equinox is derived from Latin words meaning “equal night.” Days and nights are approximately equal in length near the first day of spring! After a long, cold winter it’s exciting to have longer days and to feel the warm sun on our face. Spring is a time of renewed energy, open widows, bird songs, baby animals, and blooming flowers and trees. No wonder it’s such a well loved season!
