The Town of Merrimack’s Annual 4th of July Parade is organized by the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department and is one of the largest Independence Day Parades in the State of New Hampshire.
In 2024, there were 72 registered groups encompassing more than 1400 participants in the parade; making it the largest parade Merrimack ever organized.
The Parade features a wide range of bands, militia units, clowns, local businesses, community organizations and more.
The Parade begins at the Commons Shopping Plaza (Tractor Supply) which is located at 515 Daniel Webster Highway. The parade travels south down Daniel Webster Highway. It then takes a right onto Baboosic Lake Road and travels past Mastricola School and then takes a left onto O’Gara Drive.
The parade concludes in front of Merrimack High School. The entire route is 1.5 miles long.
